The 2002 bluegrass season kicks off at The Village Arts Centre, Kilworth on Monday, January 20 with a superb double act featuring a top 5-piece band from the United States and a Belgian duo called Table For Two.
Originating in the gateway of the Great Smoky Mountains, Seth Mulder & Midnight Run began its journey in February of 2015, at the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They set out to create a group that is tied to the rich traditions of bluegrass music and offer up a fresh approach to the ‘High Lonesome’ sound.
With over 200 dates a year, their high-energy style of bluegrass has taken them all over world. From Danny Stewarts Alaskan Bluegrass Cruise, Bluegrass On The Beach Lake Havasu, AZ and tours in Ireland (Village Arts Centre among a few other selected Irish venues), England and Scotland just to name a few.
Supporting them from Belgium are a duo called ‘Table for Two’. Promoter John Nyhan promises yet another great mix of music on the night to kick off the new year.
